A great story of justice denied. Director Robert Kirchhoff sets out to follow the clues leading to a murder; murder which passes, as a tragic mystery, through the lives of  the people involved and the history of socialist and democratic regime. The case of a murdered girl, spanning over nearly half a century, is an open wound on the souls of individuals and society alike. The story of a life with a realization that the murderer may not be the one on  the screen but can be sitting next to us. Crime among us and the camera lens becomes the sole detector of truth and lie.
